Abraham Kipkorir Kogo was born in 1979 in Toroton Village, Tinderet District in Nandi County. He was brought up in a single parent family because his mother was not married. Due to the death of his mother he lived a life of ups and downs as an orphan. He moved to Eldoret – Ziwa in 2003.
To attain his education was not something easy but it has taken the gracious hand of God to a level that he is now. He accomplished his secondary education in 2000 and stayed home nine years before joining Westminster Christian Institute in Uganda for his BTH degree in 2009. To pay for his college fees was also a big problem in that he decided to sell his cell phone to a white man in Uganda so that he could clear his fee balance for the first semester. By God’s grace, he met with Robert Bolitho (IGO) who sponsored him with his college studies from the second semester to the end. Abraham is married to Judith Kogo and God has blessed them with three children: 1. Kirkland Kipngeno 2. Concillia Jelangat 3. Kenan Kiprotich Kogo In December 2011, Abraham graduated with his BTH degree and MATS degree in April 2014. He is also pursuing his Doctor of Ministry Degree with MINTS. Currently, he is working as the Africa Director for TOA under IGO. He is also working as the Kenyan Coordinator for Miami International Theological Seminary. He is very much interested in equipping pastors and church leaders for gospel transformation in Africa through TOA and MINTS. |
